Late Night Hospital Runs

Last night, myself, Paul and Josh Kerr took a trip to Holy Spirit Hospital around 2am.  It was an adventure to say the least. It ended up with one person having to stay away from magnets for the next week and the other couldn't even walk out of the hospital.....Find the story after the jump.

First, I got a call at 1am from Paul saying that he needs to go to the hospital because he split his head open. When I came back to the dorm he had this pretty cut on his head.

How'd he do that you may ask? Well he sat down too fast in a comfy chair, but he didn't see the corner of the display case behind him. So yep, he nailed his head off this.

At least the hospital was so kind to put him in his lax number room, number 8.

 Suns out guns out!

Paul awaiting the doctor, eating cheez-its while playing a game on his phone.

Before they started to clean the laceration, they decided to mummify Paul incase the procedure went haywire.

Here, the murse was being ruthless and just squeezing this clear liquid all throughout his wound. Does he not have a soul? . . .  During this, Paul was making some crazy faces and saying some crazy words that we won't repeat here. He looked like he was trying to pee but nothing would come out.

This is a close up of the cut. I'd say it cleaned up pretty well.

All stapled up. I told him next time to do this to his forehead, then he could have had a good costume idea, Frankenstein.

But wait, the night didn't end there.  After looking at my roommates stapled up dome piece, I began to explain what it looked like to him and Josh.  Little did I know, Josh Kerr is like a 7 year old when it comes to blood (if you ever get a paper cut, don't show him or ask him to put a bandaid on it). He starts to feel a little queazy and his vision goes blurry.  Paul and I were laughing hysterically at this point but apparently it wasn't funny, says Josh.

The nurse and I then carry him to a nearby bed incase he passes out.... and he did.

They then proceeded to wheel him out in a wheelchair, and the nurse made me pull up the car because they did not want him walking far.
